This position will be responsible for administratively supporting a large organization within our company from team members up to the VP level. The Administrative Assistant will initially be responsible for providing coverage for general department functions including: -Coordinating complex functions (celebratory, lunch meetings, team building, etc) from planning to execution -Extensive travel booking for both domestic and international travel -Complex calendaring via MS Outlook -Expense Reporting Facilitating meetings -Reporting -Other general department support tasks. The ideal candidate will be excited about the opportunity to develop their skills and grow to support our organization at the VP level once they are well-established in the role. This position requires the ability to handle multiple tasks successfully, identify and resolve problems, prioritize workload and effectively handle distractions, work effectively and cooperatively with co-workers, maintain a professional attitude and provide a high level of customer service. This team thrives off of team work - many projects are large-scale and will require cooperation and working closely with other team members.
-5-7 years' experience in an office environment as an Administrative Assistant -Strong MS Outlook skills, especially with calendaring -Prior experience booking travel (both domestic and international) -Strong and effective communication skills -Strong organization and prioritization skills -Must be reliable in attendance, punctuality, and meeting deadlines
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Ability to interact with many employees across the company Ability to juggle multiple projects and to multi-task and prioritize various responsibilities on a daily basis with little supervisory input. Must work positively in a team environment and be responsive to department and customer needs with a high sense of urgency Effective written and verbal communication skills Comprehensive knowledge of departmental/organizational practices, policies and procedures
