Job Description

Required Education, Skills, And Experience:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education and 4+ years of professional experience; or 1 year of professional experience with a related Master's degree.
Five years of Business Development experience in the Federal Market place; 10 years of general business development experience
Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical team members
Ability to apply successfully for clearance
Lead all aspects of Capture and Business Development activities in assigned areas, including partner identification and negotiation, win strategy, and relationship development.
Work with our internal team to monitor and identify emerging sales opportunities through paid subscriptions and federal databases such as GovWin, FedBiz Opps, etc.
Use various research techniques to gather information in support of capture activities to include contract scope, spending profile, key personnel, potential teammates, and competitors.
Develop a pipeline of leads, qualified, and bid target opportunities, keeping the CRM updated.
Hold gate reviews (readiness reviews) with Capture, Proposal, Operations, Contracts and Executive personnel.
Educate partners and customers on 22nd Century's capabilities, solutions, and contract vehicles.
Represent 22nd Century at customer-facing events, tradeshows, and industry events.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential teaming partners.
Keep updated on new IT product, solutions and industry knowledge.
Maintain a stellar relationship with customers and industry partners as well as internal team including Client, Capture, Proposal, Operations, Contracts and Recruiting personnel.
