-submittal limit is 5 per supplier
-The manager is looking for candidates with OPTIC ASSEMBLY experience, not technicians.
-candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents
-hours for this position are 5a-2:30p 9/80 shift with every other Friday off.
-could be contract to hire for the right candidate

Job Responsibilities:
-The Assembler will be responsible for a wide variety of optical assembly tasks in a production environment for an aerospace/defense contractor.
-Uses optical, electrical, and mechanical components to build complex sub-assemblies and the final product.
-Assists with process documentation and training.
-Must have good communication skills, and the ability to operate environment where changes to design and build are frequent and ongoing.
-Perform as member of a technical team utilizing effective communication skills, including leadership role and interaction with higher level leadership and customers. Actively promotes team decision making.

Critical Skills Needed:
-General Manufacturing process and ISO 9000 desired
-Ability to read and precisely follow documented instructions and schematics
-Ability to utilize basic math and computer skills
-Ability to work together in groups or teams and develop excellent working relationships
-Able to stand for extended periods and be able to lift forty pounds over head for short periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities
-Determining Needs - Asks specific questions of customers to gain a clear understanding of their desires.
-Resolving Conflict - Understands and exhibits the ability to provide general conflict resolution assistance.

-Time Management - Maintains a daily to-do list which helps to prioritize schedule
-Excellent Attention to detail and Hand-Eye Coordination
-No vision-related issues due to responsibilities of role will include visual inspection of product

**This job requires a high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 or more years of work experience specifically related to job requirements**

- What exactly are they assembling? Build sub- assembly into top level
-Do you know what optical, electrical, and mechanical components they will be using to build the sub-assemblies and final products? Calibrated hand tools, fixtures, adhesives- Its your basic hand tools, and optics is ITAR.
