Conference & Events Plnr I
Act as concierge for the Conference Center answering phones, assisting guests with directions to rooms, assisting with additional logistical support, AV support as needed.
Interface with on-site and off-site departments to insure logistical follow-through of events
As a team effort, collectively responsible for 7am to 6pm coverage of Conference Center Desk and Call Center Phones
Primary Customer Call Center Coverage from 11 AM - 6 PM
Maintain Conference Room and Restroom Amenity Program
Update and maintain Room Manuals including equipment operation and safety updates
Coordination of newspaper orders and payments - Wall Street Journal, Boston Globe and NY Times
Coordination of new hires, transfers and contractor additions to Waltham Woods and Wyman Street
Review and pay vendor invoices for Operations at Waltham Woods.
Expense Reports for department members as needed
Other duties as required to assist with department projects and goals.
Additional Job Details:Desired Experience/Skills: Five-Star customer service orientation in addition to strong detail oriented skills Experience or extensive familiarity with Web-based reservation and/or call center systems Willingness to learn high end, state of the art A/V equipment (fully integrated conference rooms/VTC/LCD screens) Office experience with LotusNotes, Powerpoint, Excel and Word Must have strong relationship management skills with internal/external customers and vendors
