Position Description/Responsibilities Include:
Provide facilities operations support for the Defense Centers of Excellence (DCoE) for Psychological Health (PH) and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). This role provides professional facilities management support to DCoE's Facilities Division, with oversight and guidance from the Senior Facilities Manager.
Specific duties include:
  • Assist in monitoring and directing day-to-day operations to ensure that facilities organizational policies and procedures are being followed, that goals and objectives are met, and that services and projects are being accomplished effectively and efficiently.
  • Assist with the maintenance and enhancement the facilities' division's SharePoint site. Ensure work requests are monitored and fulfilled.
  • Assist with minor in-house maintenance activities related to maintaining optimal conditions within an office environment.
  • Assist with the establishment and maintenance of space records, plans, files and charts for effective space management.
  • Conduct detailed analyses of functions and work processes in assigned programs and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage project objectives, project constraints (scope, schedule, cost, quality, etc.), project risk, and manage or coordinate project resources.
  • Supports development and adoption of standard operating procedures (SOPs) to formalize processes and standards.
  • Assist with the development of briefings and/or trainings.
  • Manage various spreadsheets, take and disseminate meeting minutes, and maintain staff training files.
Qualifications for this position include:
  • Strong verbal and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and clients while leading development to a completed and successful solution.
  • Strong organization skills to manage multiple timelines and complete tasks quickly within the constraints of clients' timelines and budgets.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, with particular emphasis on Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and clients to identify and accomplish a successful solution.
  • 2+ years' experience in Project/Operations Management and/or Facilities Management (or related area). Experience in DoD/Government a strong plus.

Clearance Required: Public Trust clearance may be required.
Education: Bachelor's degree
