Job Title: SharePoint Online Developer

Job Description

The SharePoint Online Developer role is responsible for the document and content management platforms within the Workplace Productivity Center of Excellence (WPP CoE). The candidate will develop, modify and, maintain SharePoint portals using out of the box functionality, .NET and other relevant software tools. The candidate will design, develop, and manage site content and capabilities, and provide daily onsite maintenance of the existing portals. The candidate may be required to work with project stakeholders daily and should rely on their experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. The candidate will be required to participate in user meetings to understand the business problem, participate in requirements analysis and determine if the solution can be SharePoint based.

Responsibilities

* Develop SharePoint-based solutions both on-premise and online using out of the box functionality and using Microsoft .Net
* Configuration of SharePoint-based sites, pages, lists, libraries and workflows
* Development of custom web parts, master pages and forms
* Experience with SharePoint Designer (2019), InfoPath, PowerApps, Visual Studio, Microsoft Flow and Nintex
* Implementation knowledge of different types of web authentication
* Good fundamental and hands on knowledge of MS SQL Server
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, energetic and professional demeanor, and be very client oriented are all must-have characteristics
* Works in an object-oriented, multi-developer environment with version control, change management and continuous improvement.
* Works closely with business users and IT partners to review requirements. Develop, recommend and discuss technical designs that meet those requirements
* Identify opportunities that can improve efficiency of business processes.
* Provide assistance and advice to business users in the effective use of applications and information technology.
* Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
* 5+ years of SharePoint development and architecture experience
* Development experience with SharePoint 2019 and SharePoint Online using CSOM, SSOM, SPFX
* Development experience with tools, frameworks and languages, including Visual Studio (2017/2019), JavaScript, CSS, .NET, HTML, JQuery, InfoPath, Powershell and SharePoint Designer
* Experience migrating sites, lists, forms, apps and workflows (NINTEX), Sharegate from SharePoint 2010/2013/16 on premise farms to SharePoint Online
* Experience with site and content migration from on-premises implementation to SharePoint Online
* Experience designing and developing user-interfaces is a plus
* Proficient in C#, VB.Net, with a good knowledge of the frameworks and relevant ecosystems
* Proficient understanding and experience with ALM tooling, preferably Azure DevOps (formerly TFS); experience with code versioning using TFVC and/or Git
* Good understanding of CI/CD automation processes and desired experience with Azure Pipelines (YAML)
* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server (2017/2019)
* Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, energetic and professional demeanor, and be very client oriented are all must-have characteristics
* Excellent communication, organization and documentation skills
* Good working knowledge of web applications, and RESTful API-based testing platforms
* Good understanding with desired experience using APM tooling such as Dynatrace
* Good understanding with desired experience managing Azure workloads
* Good understanding with desired experience of designing and implementing load and performance tests
* Experience working with ITSM Processes (including Change and Incident management)
* Experience working with Agile Development methodology, including Scrum
* Experience with test automation and regression testing
