• Maintains Federal, State, and County mandated client assessment records.
• Adheres to Nutrition Program Policies outlined in the Department of Elder Affairs Programs and Services Handbook and food safety guidelines.
• Represents the County's Senior Services in all client contacts.
• Sets up dining area for meal time.
• Prepares coffee and other beverages for the seniors.
• Assists clients with reserving meals and for signing when meals are served.
• Serves client meals.
• Cleans and sanitizes the dining area and kitchen after meals are served.
• Assists clients when questions arise at the meal site.
• Provides information and referrals to the general public regarding senior meals and protocol to register.
• Provides information regarding nutrition to clients.
• May be trained in operating a computer, printer, copier, calculator, facsimile machine, telephone, and/or other equipment as necessary to complete essential functions.
