Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:
Prepares and edits internal and external Client and SETC reporting documents for the WDB Director, generates agendas, minutes, and other documents often of a difficult, complex, and responsible nature.
Develop and maintain several databases and spreadsheets.
Researches, prioritizes and follows up on incoming requests, issues and concerns.
Works independently on projects, from conception to completion, and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Adheres to compliance with applicable State and County policies; rules and regulations set in bylaws regarding board and board committee matters, including advance distribution of materials before meetings in electronic/paper format.
Other duties as assigned.

- Performs a broad variety of administrative tasks for the Director, including: managing an active calendar of meetings; and composing and preparing correspondence to government and private entities.


- Manages projects; prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously, proactively, and follows-through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
- Plans and coordinates WDB business and committee meetings, as well as special events.

- Supervises, directly or indirectly, the establishment and maintenance of records and files; maintains an organized filing system of paper and electronic documents.
- Collects and analyzes data needed as a basis for administrative decisions.
- Maintains the WDB website and creates publications and social media posts.
- Communicates directly, and on behalf of the WDB, with Board members, various agencies and organizations, including State agencies, on WDB-related matters.


- Develops, maintains and reviews administrative systems to achieve maximum efficiency.

Qualifications and skills

- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Access, with an ability to become familiar with new software.
- Proficiency in collaboration with multiple entities.

- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
