Client is looking for a GIS developer to perform GIS based development to support multiple department initiatives. The department is expanding support for mobile applications and "Location Based " services.
The candidate will be involved in back-end geodatabase maintenance as well as front-end mobile and web development for display and maintenance of spatial data. The candidate should have in-depth knowledge of web mapping principles and a strong foundation of experience with the ArcGIS Enterprise software suite.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience with ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Portal
- Proficient with the ArcGIS JavaScript API
- Experienced with publishing, maintaining, and working with ArcGIS REST services
- Strong understanding of ArcSDE and the relational geodatabase model
- Proficient in performing intermediate advanced technical work providing technical support for GIS project implementation and operations
- Experienced in creating, testing and enhancing GIS applications
- Experienced in preparing GIS databases, maps, database reports and specialized queries in support of various projects
- Able to generate, maintain and disseminate GIS layers
- Proficient in producing complex maps for departments and outside agencies
- Knowledgeable in NYC GIS datasets and spatial web services a plus
