Minimum Qualification:
1) Provide bedside and general nursing care; take and recording pulse, blood pressure, respiration and temperature; applying dressing and bandages; etc.;
2) Provide direct nursing care including physical care and emotional support;
3) Participate in performing nursing assessments to identify the strengths and nursing care needs of consumers;
4) Participate in developing, implementing and evaluating nursing plans based on nursing assessment; participating in nursing diagnoses; implement nursing components of master treatment plan;
5) Give medications and treatments as prescribed by a physician;
6) Document and describe nursing care provided as well as observations and interventions that contribute to continuity of care;
7) Participate in interdisciplinaiy team meetings;
8) Assist a physician with special procedures and treatments; and
9) Perform other related work as required.

- Possession of a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Missouri
- Healthcare Provider CPR.
- Psychiatric experience preferred but not required.
- Currently orientation is as follows: Four days NEO (New Employee Orientation), two days with a Nurse Educator, three to five days orientation on the unit with Preceptor
