Clinical Psychologist
Specifically, we are looking for someone who has experience and education in the treatment of patients with serious mental illness in a forensic setting. We would hope they could speak to evidence based practices for this population and how to work on an interdisciplinary treatment team.  If they are primary assessment focused in their experience, we are hoping they have a work sample we can review.
Someone who is current with assessment tools and treatment modalities.
Someone who values cultural competency and continuing education.
Someone without board complaints.

( 2) Duties of Unit Psychologist:
(a) Provide patients with individual psychotherapy as assigned.
(b) Provide group therapy services on unit or within the treatment mall as assigned.
(c) Provide clinical psychology services in the form of psychological assessment and testing within the limits of the psychologist's expertise and privileging, consultation, treatment (individual, group, and milieu).
(d) Consult with treatment care staff. As appropriate, attends clinical management meetings to consult on clinical and service delivery issues.
(e) Perform risk assessments of patients as requested.
(f) Complete evaluations within specified deadlines.
(g) Complete and document psychological evaluations that include baseline psychological testing.
(h) Meet with patients to implement treatments consistent with the treatment care plan, monitor progress or regression, and assist in making necessary treatment care plan changes.
(i) Complete psychological evaluations utilizing assessment techniques that address personality, intellectual, and cognitive impairments, as well as risk and malingering assessments within the limits of the psychologist's expertise.
(j) Complete CSSRS – Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale assessment on incoming admissions/transfers and on as needed basis or according to CSSRS guidelines per OSH policies.

License and BLS certification is required.
