Software Quality Assurance (QA) Engineer (Airborne Flight Critical Software) Responsible for the verification of flight critical software following DO-178C guidelines
Essential job functions:
Essential job functions:
1) Responsible for verifying flight critical software in accordance with DO-178C guidelines. Verify the flight software against the requirements using Requirements Based Tests (RBT). Tracing requirements to design to code (and the reverse) as well as requirements to test cases (and the reverse).
2) Software: C and Python languages a must
Documentation: DOORS for requirements as well as Microsoft Office.
Required skills:
Required skills: Candidate must be proficient in software verification using C and Python and writing test scripts. Must be proficient at using DOORS for requirements management. Must be knowledgeable using Windows applications such as Visio, Word and other Microsoft Office tools. Must be willing to take direction and execute assignments as asked. Must be self-motivated and willing to take ownership of assignments and look for ways to execute on time and on budget. Must be willing to report status to Project leads.
