Job description.
The Department of Administration, Division of Legal Services needs a temporary administrative assistant (preferably with some legal background) to assist our office. Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phones, etc.
- Data entry (entering/updating legal cases in our legal case management system)
- Scanning
- Scheduling meetings/hearings
- Typing and sending out letters, etc.
- Records retention (sending legal records off to storage)
- Setting up folders for attorneys
- Various projects on an as needed basis.
- Must be a team player and be able to multi-task in a busy legal department
- Prefer candidates with prior legal office experience but will work with the right candidate.
- General office experience is required.
- Must be able to multi-task, team player and superior phone and email skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe
- Previous meeting scheduling experience a plus
