Role: HxGN EAM Business Process Analyst Metro Vancouver is looking for a contract HxGN EAM Business Process Analyst to help support the Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) Reconfiguration Project Implementation (Phase 2). The goal of the project is to implement new HxGN EAM solutions based on the design completed in the previous phase (2024). The new solutions will address the pain points Metro Vancouver currently has with its HxGN EAM system. This work will typically be performed on-site at Metro Vancouver's head office at 4515 Central Boulevard, Burnaby, BC. A hybrid of remote work and on-site can be accommodated. The terms of this contract will be as follow: • From engagement for up to 1 year with the potential of renewal for up to two years The HxGN EAM Business Process Analyst will work in collaboration with our internal IT EAM Team and will: • Understand the existing challenges and business requirements related to work management and infrastructure asset management planning using HxGN EAM software system. • Document and consolidate improved business processes to streamline work management and infrastructure asset management planning using HxGN EAM. • Review and improve data quality for selected dataset(s) in HxGN EAM. • Support internal and external resources to develop working prototypes of EAM configurations and integrations in the following areas: o Asset Record Management. o Asset Lifecycle Record, Condition Based Maintenance. o Work Identification, Planning, Scheduling, Budget. o Work Execution, Closeout, Condition Assessment Based Maintenance o Integration with enterprise software including Document Management System (Open Text), Geospatial Information System (Esri GIS) and Financial Management System (Unit4) o Materials Management and MRO o EAM Mobile Application including Custom Mobile Application Solution This position will work alongside: • One Senior Business Analyst • One Senior System Analyst • One Senior Technical Analyst • Asset Management Systems Manager The position requires the following qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or related field, or the equivalent combination of education, training and experience. • 5 or more years of business system analysis experience working with HxGN EAM software system. • Thorough knowledge and experience with the review and implementation of key work management and infrastructure asset management planning and execution processes using HxGN EAM. • Thorough knowledge and experience with the integration between HxGN EAM and other enterprise software (e.g. GIS, FMS, HR). • Thorough knowledge and experience with project management as well as Agile practices and frameworks. • Strong ability to document, analyze and assess business processes, system interactions and to propose consolidated alternative business processes. • Thorough knowledge of problem definition and analysis related to business processes and systems planning. • Considerable knowledge of information technology components, processes and developments related to the work performed. • Considerable knowledge of the functions of departments served and their requirements in information technology. • Ability to clearly articulate messages to a variety of audiences. • Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills. • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. • Certification for Infrastructure Asset Management (e.g. Institute of Asset Management (IAM), Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia (IPWEA), Plant Engineering and Maintenance Association of Canada (PEMAC)) is an asset. • Project Management Professional (PMP) designation is an asset. • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) designations are an asset. In addition, this position requires the ability to: • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with a variety of internal contacts. • Provide advice and assistance on matters related to the work. • Communicate effectively orally and in writing. • Perform assigned duties with minimal supervision, although direction will be given. • Maintain confidentiality
