Communications Coordinator
Parking: Parking is available to non-employees in structure 32 for $17/day, $70/7 days, $135/30 days, $405/quarter
Duration: 6 months

Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree
• 1–3 years of experience in communications, marketing, media relations or related role.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Attention to detail is essential.
• Collaboratively minded self-starter.

Preferred Skills
• Experience in healthcare, higher education and large, complex organizations is a bonus.
• Experience with content management systems (Wordpress), email distribution tools (ContactMonkey) and project management platforms (Workfront) preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to interact with a wide range of stakeholders.

Duties/Responsibilities
• Monitor shared inbox, assess requests for routine health system-wide email distribution, escalate as appropriate. Format and lightly edit health system-wide emails, manage approval process, distribute email to designated listerv.

• Transcribe monthly manager/leader meeting minutes, summarize key presentations, manage presenter approvals, post summary on intranet, distribute email to designated listerv.

• Maintain list of institutional awards and achievements, create simple presentation slides for use by for use by manager leaders.

• Manage intranet web content, including submitted "Cheers to Peers” staff briefs, employee discounts and routine banners crated by vendors.

• Provide general support and coordination for various Communications Department communications projects and initiatives encompassing Issues and Reputation Management, Crisis Communications, Internal and Executive Communications, and Media Relations.
