Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor
Job Description(s):
The Client is in need of Licensed Clinical Social Worker or Licensed Professional Counselor - This is a licensed professional position accountable for providing clinical therapy services to persons with mental illness and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities. Completes comprehensive case histories concerning the clients' social, environmental, and economic backgrounds to inform diagnoses and treatment planning. Develops individualized treatment plans based on individuals' goals and provides ongoing individual and/or group therapy using evidence-based modalities. Responsible for monitoring client progress and working collaboratively with other disciplines to address potential barriers to client treatment.
Knowledge, skills, & abilities:
Knowledge of the ethical considerations involved in the practice of licensed clinical social work. Knowledge of methods, principles, practices, and techniques of casework, group work, client-centered advocacy, community, psychotherapy, and other clinical skills as they apply to intervention programs for persons with mental illness and/or intellectual or developmental disabilities. Ability to apply a variety of techniques and methods in the areas of assessment, planning, and individual and group therapy.
Experience:
Training and experience in providing individual and group therapy in at least one evidence-based therapeutic modality required. Prefer experience in using Dialectical Behavior Therapy and/or Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. Prefer experience in providing therapy to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. Experience using an Electronic Health Record (EHR) is preferred.
Anticipated Need
It is expected that services will be provided via in-person and through telehealth. For telehealth appointments, the contractor's personnel must utilize a HIPAA-compliant communication platform, possess audio/video capabilities for virtual visits, and secure electronic documentation.
