Job Scope :
The client is seeking (4) Software/Hardware Consultants for Metro-North Railroad who will be responsible for enhancing the security posture of the agency's Operational Technology (OT) for the safety and security of employees and passengers.
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
Strong background in Cybersecurity, Security, & Infrastructure Projects
Minimum 5 years' experience in Network Engineering
Highly flexible with appropriate sense of urgency and commitment for critical deliverables

- Previous experience with a 24x7x365 industrial control systems OT environment (preferred)
- Transportation industry experience (railroad preferred)
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and hardening Dell servers, workstations, thin clients
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and hardening Microsoft Operating Systems and Microsoft SQL Databases
- Experience with vulnerability assessment and hardening VMWare vSphere/vSAN products
- Ability to analyze third party software source code and proprietary communication protocols for security vulnerabilities
- Experience with Security Information and Event Management systems
- Previous experience in vulnerability assessment, hardening, patch management
- Experience writing Disaster Recovery/Incident Response plans for 24x7x365 industrial control systems OT environment
- Support the continuous improvement of the vulnerability management program, processes, and technology integrations.
