Job Description:
Blueprint Consulting Services Group (BCSG) is looking to hire a driven and detail-oriented Master Scheduler with strong risk management experience. This position provides direct interaction with clients, executive leadership, and the ability to showcase one's talents in a highly visible, fast-paced environment. We are a growing firm looking for individuals to grow with us.
This position is based in Washington, DC, as part of a dynamic team located on site supporting a Federal client. This person will be responsible for maintaining a master program schedule in an Agile development IT environment while balancing those demands with schedule best practices. Responsibilities will include planning, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring through the system development lifecycle (SDLC). Additional responsibilities include program risk and issue management and mitigation.

  • Be located near or willing to commute daily to Washington DC and Winchester Virginia (no relocation or travel is available),
  • Be a US citizen with a current federal clearance (Public Trust or above) or an active clearance from a US Federal Agency,
  • Have three (3) years of business consulting experience at minimum,
  • Have two (2) years of direct CPIC experience,
  • Have a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
  • Be able to pass a drug screening with no deficiencies.
In the event of further consideration by our firm, you must be prepared to undergo and pass;
  • A full background and favorable security clearance check by the U.S. Office of Personnel Management (OPM), DHS and FEMA,
  • A background screening performed by our firm, contractor or authorized agent
  • Directly support the Program Manager with the creation and maintenance of an Integrated Master Schedule that spans various workstreams and an Agile development methodology
  • Facilitate stakeholder working groups to update task completion, dependencies, etc.
  • Lead schedule development and update efforts across the program
  • Lead program-level risk and issue management efforts including the identification, classification, weighting, and strategizing
  • Develop periodic and ad hoc analysis and updates and reports on both schedule and risk management for all levels of project stakeholders
  • Review, compare, and analyze schedule performance against baseline
  • Evaluate impacts of schedule changes on overall plan and competing needs
  • Create and execute risk management strategy and framework.
  • Ensure root causes for schedule volatility are proactively identified and resolved.
  • Maintain a program risk register and ensure that identified program risks do not impact program schedule.
  • Proactively identify new risks and support owners to develop mitigation strategies.
Required Skills:
  • 5 – 10 years of Integrated Master Schedule experience using Critical Path Methodology, especially within an Agile environment
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Project
  • Advanced communication skills, including facilitation
  • Advanced presentation skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and quickly respond to customer requests
Highly Desired:
  • PMP Certification
  • CSM Certification
  • FEMA experience (or related Federal experience)
  • Experience working in Program Management Office and/or IT development programs
