PLEASE NOTE:
-submittal limit is 5 per supplier
-The manager is looking for candidates with OPTIC ASSEMBLY experience, NOT TECHNICIANS!!!!
-candidates must be US Citizens or Permanent Residents
-hours are 6:30am-3pm mon-fri
-high school diploma or equivalent is REQUIRED

Job Responsibilities:
The assembler will be responsible for a wide variety of complex optical, electronic, or electro-mechanical assembly tasks for opto-electronic/opto-mechanical systems in a production environment for an aerospace/defense contractor.
-Uses optical, electrical, and mechanical components to build complex sub assemblies and the final product.
-Must have good communication skills, and the ability to operate in the fast-paced New Product Introduction environment where changes to design and build are frequent and ongoing.
-Perform as member of a technical team utilizing effective communication skills. Actively promotes team decision making

Critical Skills Needed:
-Ability to read and precisely follow documented instructions and schematics
-Ability to utilize basic math and computer skills
-Ability to work together in groups or teams and develop excellent working relationships
-Able to stand for extended periods and be able to lift forty pounds over head for short periods. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities
-Determining Needs - Asks specific questions of customers to gain a clear understanding of their desires.
-Resolving Conflict - Understands and exhibits the ability to provide general conflict resolution assistance.
-Stress Tolerance - Remains professional during stressful situations.

-Excellent Attention to detail and Hand-Eye Coordination
-No vision-related issues due to responsibilities of role will include visual inspection of product
