Job Description
  • All responsibilities of Personnel Practices Analyst.
  • Supervises a small staff of technical specialists.
  • Spends majority of time counseling, training or performing analytical activities.
  • Provides appropriate recommendations for resolution of diverse or complex issues based on accurate interpretation of state and federal policies and regulations.
  • Broad, comprehensive knowledge of principles and practices of human resource management, policies, and procedures to direct a complex and diverse agency-wide program.
  • Considerable knowledge of one or more functional areas.
  • Experience in Human Resources or related field.
  • Attend Hearings.
  • Responsible for analyzing the Labor Relations structure within each of the facilities, including the interpretation of the employment law, labor agreements, and policies for consistency, standardization review and implementation; identifying worst and recommending best management practices based on the nature of issues received; developing consistent/standard methods of approach to routine and complex issues; developing and providing counselling (training) to Managers at site regarding improvement techniques.
  • Accordingly, these positions will serve as subject matter experts in this field and supervise the implementation of revisions with on-site staff.
Education
  • Bachelor's Degree
