Title - Distribution Technician
Shift - 2nd shift (2 pm - 10:30 pm)

Position has possibility for direct employment with Client; however, there is no guarantee

Role Summary/Purpose
The Distribution Technician executes the receiving, storing, picking, staging and distribution of
materials required for assembly/manufacture of product.
Essential Responsibilities
* Perform physical movement of materials from one area to another using handcarts or fork lifts
* Picks parts/products for shipments ensuring accuracy of identification and quantity
* Physically and systemically receive/issue individual material requisitions from internal and
external departments
* Create and/or maintain transactional inventory records
* Maintain accurate files of packing and shipping activity
* Communicate/notify appropriate personnel of shipping/inventory discrepancies
* Fill kits and deliver to production as required
* Maintain stocking/inventory objectives
* Quantifies and verifies cycle count
* Comply with EHS & Quality System regulations and policies
* Perform other duties and/or special projects as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements
* High school Diploma or local equivalent
* Demonstrate ability to read, write and speak in English
* Must have medical examiner's certificate or be capable of passing medical examiner's exam to
operate company vehicle routing materials to and from HyClone and outside warehouses.
* Proficient in basic mathematics
* Ability to communicate well and work with others
* Basic computer skills
* Ability to utilize automated lifting equipment - have forklift certification or ability to become
certified
* Must be willing and able to work the 2nd shift.
Physical Requirements:
* Capable of working in extreme cold conditions(-20 °c or -4 °f) on a regular basis
* Frequently move, lift, carry, push or pull weights up to 50 lbs unassisted and occasionally
lift/move weights greater than 50 lbs with assistance.
* Frequently climb stairs and ladders
* Frequently squat, stoop, kneel, crouch, turn, pivot and reach
* Frequently work at heights using fall protection equipment while operating man lift to pick orders
* Frequently sit on and operate a powdered industrial truck
* Ability to continuously stand or walk
* Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights
* Ability to withstand changes in temperatures in a typical ambient and freezer warehouse
environment
* Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision,
depth perception and ability to adjust and focus on objects
* 2+ years experience in storing and material handling
* Previous experience with Oracle and Master Control
* Knowledge of computerized material flow methods
* Basic knowledge of quality and inventory control
* Prior experience using a forklift and weight scales
