Computer Software to be used:

Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other State Eligibility Determination and Enrollment Systems

Knowledge/ Skills/ Educatio/ Experience required
Considerable knowledge of publicly administered assistance programs, such as Medicaid (Families and Children, ABD/LTC) and FAMIS. Knowledge of Virginia Case Management System (VaCMS) and Medicaid Management Information System (MMIS) in the analysis of business needs. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Ability to interpret Federal and State law and regulations. Working knowledge of administration, management and administrative controls. Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Human Services administration or equivalent.

Desired Skills
Prefer direct knowledge/experience in Medicaid/FAMIS eligibility determinations, policies and procedures

Duties/ Responsibilities
The primary function of this position will include the enrollment, tracking, and reporting of members into the new FAMIS Prenatal Coverage program. This position will review reports and complete enrollments in compliance with state and federal program requirements. This position will also assist with outreach and communication efforts to the targeted FAMIS Prenatal Coverage population. This position may also assist with other eligibility and enrollment functions and special projects as needed.
