Knowledge, skills, education, and/or experience
Be a member of the state-wide IM team responsible for reviewing all reported incidents on a daily basis and following up on those of potential concern, including phone contact with the provider and/or individual; desk review of records and reports; and on-site visits when indicated.
Provide training and technical assistance to providers, Regional Managers, Specialists and other staff within the OL related to the IM process.
Ensure clear communication between the IM team, specialists, investigators, and other offices such as the Community Integration Team, CRCs and Office of Human Rights

Conduct risk management and quality improvement activities under the direction of the Director to ensure the accuracy of data entered by providers and ensure the OL is meeting established outcomes within the assigned timeframes.
This position has completed access to all client and patient-related protected health information.

Desired skills:
Experience in root cause analysis
Microsoft programs
Appropriate care and treatment of individuals with mental illness, developmental disability and substance abuse.

Preferably have knowledge of Office licensing regulations, guidance and internal protocols

Duties/Responsibilities:
HIPAA Level One: access to limited to PHI for purpose of licensing. Utilization of information will be in accordance with HIPAA regulations regarding use limitation, disclosure and request of PHI.
