Job Summary:
The current project is to migrate email and calendaring from an O365/exchange hybrid environment to Gmail and calendaring. This will involve planning for over 7500 accounts to be transferred in about 120 different locations across the state ensuring the staff are trained to handle the change with minimum impact to their day to day jobs. There are complex back-office operations with significant dependence on email and calendaring. This change is likely to touch many documented and undocumented processes, applications and will require skills to anticipate risks and put mitigations plans in place to avoid customer impact. It is recognized that this project will require extensive planning, strategy, communications and training for the entire organization in an effective manner. The ideal project manager will have the skills, knowledge and experience to handle delicate situations and drive this project to success.

Project Manager Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage all relevant plans to ensure project success especially project plans, communication plans, training plans, risk management plans
- Manage resources and schedules
- Stakeholder management - assisting to prioritize and set expectations when competing project deadlines arise
- Develop reporting content and produce reports for different stakeholders on appropriate performance metrics
- Meet budgetary objectives and provide timely analysis and mitigation plans for any deviations
- Maintain communications at various levels to ensure project success
- Work with tech partners, vendors, other government agencies and architects to identify solutions and business process changes
- Develop a dynamic project framework to facilitate the Plan, Do, Check, Act, Adjust methodology
- Lead teams and meetings to manage scope and deliverables

Skills and experience:
- Proven ability to manage change in dynamic, ambiguous environment and ability to influence without direct authority among peers and with leaders
- Influence team members with innovative changes and improvements by challenging status quo and demonstrating risk taking
- Worked in an organization with 5000- 10000 employees
- 10 years of PM experience with 5 years on large transformational projects
- Advanced time management and analytical skills
- Excellent customer-facing oral and written communication skills
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Use of PM tools like MS-office, G-suite etc.
- A college degree or equivalent experience
- PMP or any other equivalent project management certification

- O365/Exchange to Google migration experience, a definite plus
- Technical background in operations or development
