Recruiter - based out of Maplewood, some travel possible to Newark Headquarters

- Recruiting for Locomotive Engineer Training Program
- Recruiting experience comprising of interviewing, HR consultation with Hiring Managers
- Good judgement and ability to retain and withhold confidentiality with applicants and panel

Partnering with hiring managers to determine staffing needs
 Screening resumes
 Performing in-person and phone interviews with candidates
 Administering appropriate company assessments
 Performing reference and background checks
 Making recommendations to the company hiring managers
 Coordinating interviews with the hiring managers
 Following up on the interview process status
 Maintaining relationships with both internal and external clients to ensure staffing goals are achieved
 Communicating employer information and benefits during the screening process
 Staying current on the companyÆs organization structure, personnel policy, and federal and state laws regarding employment practices.
 Provides support, guidance, and training to personnel staff as required; Participates in the review of training needs of staff making appropriate proposals to meet identified needs.
