Job Summary: Performs various types of product packing and shipping in accordance with established procedures and/or commercial standards; receives and stocks incoming equipment, materials, and supplies and prepares shipments.

Duties: Processes all in-and outbound shipments including but not limited to sorting, logging, delivering, packing, and shipping; Audits each shipment prior to packing to ensure that goods match order; Packs and labels product based on established standards; Ensures that proper equipment, documents, and accessories are shipped with correct order; Prepares shipping and receiving documentation; maintains orderly files for all documentation; Participates in scheduling of daily transportation; Processes all receiving transactions and paperwork; Inspects all incoming freight for damage; follows-up with purchasing to resolve any damaged freight issues; Operates forklift and pallet jack; Assists in responses to requests for tracing of missing shipments; Assists in maintaining safety and housekeeping standards in shipping area; Performs required administrative tasks; prepares required reports and correspondence; Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

Experience: 0-2 years

? Entry-level job with little or no prior relevant experience
? Work is prescribed and completed with close supervision and little autonomy
? Duties are clearly defined and methods and tasks are described in detail

Education: High school diploma or equivalent with demonstrated skills.

Computer Skills: Familiar with Windows Operating System® and with a MRP systems is strongly desired.

* Transports incoming and outgoing materials to designated areas utilizing appropriate tools/vehicles to accomplish task including but not limited to hand dolly, forklift, electric dolly, or pallet jack. * Checks goods against bills of lading, purchase orders or other documents. * Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined inventory procedures. * Picks, packs, and ships materials and products. * Processes all packages for shipping; processes returned merchandise. * Kits all electrical, mechanical, and fitting assemblies. * Fills orders from requisitions, maintains the necessary clerical record. * Sorts, counts and checks raw materials, finished and semi-finished parts. * Performs cycle counts. * Inputs all related data and transactions into appropriate database. * Interprets bills of material, shop packets and pick lists. * Maintains a safe, clean working environment. * Participates in quality improvement efforts. * Performs administrative tasks; prepares all required reports and correspondence. * Performs other duties as assigned by manager.

7:00am - 4:30pm, 9/80 schedule
