Job Description:
Team player must perform a variety of tasks in a customer focused environment. Individuals will be accountable to commitments with in the *** Company and/or CRANE Radar Restoration Program, should be able to identify process improvement opportunities, and expected to escalate issues to leadership for resolution (as required). Under limited supervision, the Technical Support Specialist performs a wide variety of technical tasks in support of the CRANE Radar Restoration Program systems including processes, engineering, quality control, calibration, production/test environment, and field operations. Tests, troubleshoots, repairs, maintains and installs a wide variety of electronic, electromechanical, and mechanical equipment. Observes, analyzes and reports test data, and when appropriate make necessary repairs to equipment. Works on hydraulic, pneumatic, electromechanical, mechanical and related equipment by performing one or a combination of the following using drawings, wire lists and technical repair standards: disassemble/reassembles, removes, installs, repairs and modifies components of missile/fire control systems/equipment within the facility and on board ships. Troubleshoots and repairs sub-assemblies and system cabinets. Checks work for correctness. Performs other duties as required.
